Chained to a Dialysis Machine

You’re chained to a dialysis machine. I mean, you could take cruises and stuff but there’s still a machine there and you know you’re tied up every other day almost for four hours and it just restricts you. So now [after kidney transplant] you can just do what you want.…Actually when I picture a chain I don’t mean a real heavy thing you pull a car around with. For some reason it’s just a chain around your neck that you might see a cross on. And I’m not religious.…No, no, it’s just fine, it’s real fine, it’s a piece of work – it’s art.
