Digital Sexual Health Initiative (DiSHI)

The GetCheckedOnline Implementation Study is an evaluation study of a comprehensive web-based testing service known as GetCheckedOnline (GCO), which was launched in September 2014 by the British Columbia Centre for Disease Control. GCO’s objectives are to increase testing for sexually transmitted and blood-borne infections (STBBIs), reach high-prevalence populations facing testing barriers, and increase clinical STI service capacity. CHER’s involvement in this study is through supporting data collection via Sex Now Survey as well as conducting regional surveys with key GCO target groups (e.g. LGBTQ+ people, youths).
