Thank you for your interest in the Gustavson Community Volunteer Income Tax Program at the University of Victoria.

In partnership with the Canada Revenue Agency, the Gustavson Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP) is a student-run, experiential learning opportunity that allows UVic volunteers to learn and apply their knowledge in customer service, project management, and the Canadian Tax System, while also giving back to the community. Our program has been running since 2016, with the goal of helping students and other low-income individuals who have simple (non-complex) tax situations to file their taxes and answer tax-related questions that they may have.
Our team is looking forward to connecting and supporting our clients this tax season!
We are now accepting applications for 2026/27 CVITP Volunteers!
