Hello everyone,
We have an upcoming event on March 4th. The ESS has organized a brewery tour at
a local brewery and distillery (https://macaloneydistillers.com/). Please refer below
for more information.

INFO
How to register: Buy a ticket (no physical copy this time) and register with a
volunteer at the ESS office.

Price: $10 a ticket per person includes the tour. Make sure you choose which tour
you want to be a part of. There are only 50 initial spots available (25 per tour), so
try and book early.

Time: March 4th, 2023. Booked time is 4:00 – 5:30 pm, but this includes two tours
that are back to back. The first, 4:00 – 4:45 pm and the second, 4:45 – 5:30 pm.
Please try and arrive at least 15 minutes early for the tour or you may miss it!
Many people will likely spend the entire time there and socialize during the other
tour. We are hoping to do some trivia after the tours as well as mingle for a bit.

Transportation: Unfortunately, transportation won’t be covered for this event.
Please find your own route and travel safe!

What is included in the tour: “The tour begins in our tasting room and flows the way the spirits go, past the grist mill where you can taste some of the various strains of malted & un- malted barley, or other cereals that we as a craft brewer as well as a distiller get to play and experiment with. Onward into the heart of the Brew & Still house through the smells of the mash tun & wash backs, past the gleaming swan necked Stills and then up into the warehouse and bottling hall before returning back to the visitor’s centre. Tour includes 3 beer samples and 2 whiskies.” (https://macaloneydistillers.com/).

Trivia?: Yes, we want to do trivia, and we are working with the brewery on creating
questions (that may or may not be based on the tour…). We also hope to be able to
get prizes for this trivia.
