- July 4 – 23, 2022 Anth 343 Archaeological Field Methods (1.5 credit UVic course)
July 4 – 6: University of Victoria campus – remote and outdoor lectures
July 7: travel - July 7 – 22: Fieldwork in the Broken Group Islands (camping by boat)
- July 23: pack up camp and travel to Bamfield
July 25 – Aug 12, 2022 Anth 344- Historical Ecology & Coastal Archaeology (3-week 1.5 credit course hosted at the Bamfield Marine Sciences Centre)
July 25-30: Lab methods, classroom based lectures, and research
Aug 1: Provincial Holiday: Day off/no class
Aug 2-6 lab work, fieldwork, and develop final student project proposals
Aug 7: Day off/no class
