This field school is very fortunate to have the support of the many partners and institutions listed below. We are particularly grateful to Tseshaht First Nation in whose territories we are able to conduct our work and who are jointly directing the project. Our excavation work within Tseshaht First Nation Territory in the Broken Group Islands of Pacific Rim National Park is supported by a 5-year collaboration plan (2017-2022) which outlines how the partners (Tseshaht, Pacific Rim, Bamfield Marine Sciences Centre, and UVic Anthropology) will support each other in pursuing this important work and to coordinate and communicate our findings. For more information on the 2017-2022 BSFS collaboration plan, please contact project co-director Iain McKechnie.
