The 2017 archaeology class at Bamfield Marine Sciences Centre will host a community day on Thursday August 10, 2017 at the cafeteria building on campus to showcase our methods, observations, class team, and results. Please feel free to come to this event after lunch to hear from students, community members, and researchers at BMSC. This 6-week hybrid UVic anthropology and BMSC class on the field and lab techniques of coastal archaeology is exploring the deep time ecology and human history of Nuu-chah-nulth territories in Barkley Sound.
