The VKURA award provides an opportunity for first and second year students to gain research-enriched and applied experiences in their discipline or field of study. Students gain first-hand experience in planning and undertaking research or creative works. The award is $7,500.00 for 12 weeks of full-time internship (420 hours).

The Faculty of Science has been allocated 9 awards, 2 of which will go to students from under-represented groups.  If you fall in this category, please self identify in your application.
