Social Inclusion Policy Brief

In collaboration with the Autism Alliance of Canada, Dr. Ames and Emily Coombs contributed to the development of the Social Inclusion Policy Brief #3: Postsecondary Education Inclusion. The policy brief outlines actionable policy recommendations for the Public Health Agency of Canada to address to promote social inclusion for Neurodivergent postsecondary students. This endeavour aims to remove structural barriers that can influence Autistic and other Neurodivergent people’s success in postsecondary education and adequately supports their transition to, participation in, and graduation from postsecondary education.
