Students in Community: Climate and Sustainability Initiative
Community & Student Projects Awarded
Funded by CEWIL Canada and coordinated by the Community-Engaged Learning (CEL) Office
33 undergraduate & graduate students are currently engaged in the Climate & Sustainability Initiative Program.
These students are involved in:
-
community-based courses
-
self-directed studies; and
-
honours projects
related to the field of climate and sustainability.
These climate and sustainability champions have been awarded the following:
- $500 honorarium for each student involved in the project
- $500 honorarium for the community partner involved
- Up to $500 for project-related costs
The students involved in this program also take part in the following specialty workshops and events:
