We invite you to attend this educational event to develop and enrich your personal and professional mindfulness practices. Participants who already integrate mindfulness facilitation into their everyday life and work, as well as those who are curious about how to develop these skills, will benefit from this opportunity to learn from a group of innovative and seasoned mindfulness practitioners.<\/p>\n<p>The dialogue this year will focus on the topic of:&nbsp;<em>Mindfulness and Self Compassion in a Time of Pandemic<\/em>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This year&#8217;s weekend sessions (Saturday and Sunday) are open to community members and health and helping professionals. Our Friday session is intended for health and helping professionals only.<\/p>\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-lg-8 col-md-7\">\n<p>Developed in partnership with the British Columbia Association for Living Mindfully (BCALM), the BC Mindfulness Virtual Summit includes a panel discussion, plenary presentations and experiential workshops to support the embodiment of a mindfulness practice and provide tools and resources to facilitate mindfulness in a professional setting. There will also be opportunity to practice yoga to replenish and connect.<\/p>\n<p>The virtual summit is a learning opportunity for community members interested in mindfulness and those who identify as working or volunteering in areas where a mindfulness approach to care may be valuable, including but not limited to: health care providers, researchers, counsellors and therapists, clergy, educators and trauma-exposed workers.<\/p>\n<p>We have a great lineup of presenters, each offering wisdom and practical skills for participants to use in their everyday lives.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div
