Over the course of the semester, participants collaborated in interdisciplinary teams\u2014mechanical, civil, electrical, coding, and project management\u2014to design an addition to FortisBC\u2019s biogas compressor system.<br><br>Students worked on every stage of the design process, including selecting a suitable compressor, designing the foundation, determining power and wiring requirements, and developing the control logic. Weekly Wednesday meetings fostered teamwork, technical growth, and leadership development.<br><br>The project not only provided students with valuable hands-on industry experience but also strengthened resumes, expanded professional networks, and gave participants the chance to make a meaningful impact in the field of sustainable energy. This workshop was developed for female-identifying students who wanted to learn Python.
