Awards can be found under Course Tools. Please note that not all instructors will use awards in their courses.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Types of Awards<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>There are <strong>two<\/strong> types of awards:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Badges<\/strong>: Badges are awarded based on specific criteria determined by your instructor. For example, badges may be used to recognize an academic achievement, meeting a course goal, learning a new skill, etc.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Certificates<\/strong>: Certificates are also awarded based on your instructor&#8217;s criteria, but they include a PDF which users can print.
