TUESDAY, 15 MARCH 2022 FROM 12:30 PDT-1:20

Join the Indigenous Law Students Association and Business Law Association for a lunchtime talk on advising Indigenous clients in a business law context. Yvan Guy Larocque from Miller Titerle will be visiting to give an overview on solicitor practice and advising indigenous clients in the business context.

Yvan is an Indigenous business lawyer from Sainte-Anne, MB and a member of the Manitoba Métis Federation. Yvan has a diverse practice, providing practical services and advice to businesses in various industries as well as Indigenous governments and other organizations.

In addition to an awesome discussion, there will be COOKIES from Cinnaholic and CANDY! The cookies are vegan and nut-free, although there is a chance of nut cross-contamination as they are produced on shared equipment that may come into contact with tree nuts. The cookies also contain soy. We will also have packaged candy for folks with dietary restrictions. Shoutout to the LCO for generously sponsoring our treats!

While not required for attendance, RSVP by March 12 would be highly appreciated as this will help us know how many cookies to order and what dietary restrictions to account for.
