#1: Physics Aid Service (PAS) (Department of Physics and Astronomy)<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n PAS is a FREE drop in service<\/strong> offered by the Department of Physics and Astronomy that commonly addresses problems with conceptual understanding, difficulties encountered with homework assignments, preparation for mid-term and final exams, and occasionally even preparation for external exams such as the MCAT. If you are interested in obtaining this tutor list, please email your request to physgen@uvic.ca<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Learning Assistance Program (LAP) at the University of Victoria’s Centre for Accessible Learning runs a fee-based tutoring & learning strategist program on campus by hiring and training graduate students for these roles.\u00a0 They have tutors who can help with PHYS 102A\/B, PHYS 110, PHYS 111 and more.\u00a0 The cost is $40\/hour, and students are invoiced once at the end of term.<\/p>\n To inquire further, or to request a tutor, students can email learning@uvic.ca<\/a> or call 250-418-5077.<\/p>\n
