We are excited to announce that the 13th Annual Canadian Conference for Undergraduate Women and Gender Minorities in Physics (CCUW*iP) will be hosted for the first time on the West Coast at the University of British Columbia (UBC) from January 30 – February 1, 2026!

CCUW*iP is a national conference that brings together underrepresented undergraduate students in physics and related fields to share research, connect with peers, and engage in discussions on equity, diversity, and inclusion in science. The program features keynote lectures, tours of cutting-edge research facilities, interactive workshops and panels, student research presentations, and a Graduate and Industry Fair showcasing opportunities across academia and the private sector.

The conference aims to foster community and support for women and gender minorities pursuing careers in physics. Each year, CCUW*iP is planned and run entirely by undergraduate students and welcomes approximately 100 participants from across Canada. This year, we will also welcome online delegates at a reduced cost.

For In-person delegates, the conference fee is $60, which includes the accommodations, meals, merchandise, and all events. Please note this does not include travel to Vancouver, but some travel grants will be made available. Online delegates will be able participate in keynote lectures, workshops, panels, research seminars, and student research presentations for a conference fee of $30.
