We are pleased to announce the Women+ in Physics Canada (WIPC+) Conference will be held at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario from Tuesday July 22 – Friday July 25, 2025.

WIPC+ is a national conference that brings together women, gender-diverse people, and their allies in physics and related fields from across Canada. The event offers a supportive space for undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and early-career researchers to share their work, build networks, and engage in discussions on equity, inclusion, and the future of physics in Canada.
Submission Deadline:
The call for Abstract Submissions is open until end of day Tuesday April 22, 2025*
*Update: DEADLINE EXTENDED until end of day Friday May 2, 2025.

We encourage graduate students and postdoctoral fellows from all physics disciplines to apply, especially those who identify as women and gender minorities.
We also encourage faculty and supervisors to support their trainees in attending this unique professional development opportunity.
WIPC+ 2025 offers a chance for attendees to showcase their research, gain valuable professional experience and networking amongst a national community of physicists.
