Please see the poster below for the first ever Canadian Undergraduate Medical Physics Conference. It is a free, virtual conference happening on August 25th where undergraduate students will have an opportunity to present their research in medical physics (radiotherapy, imaging, dosimetry, metrology, etc.) with prizes sponsored by Limbus AI will be awarded to the top presenters!
In addition to student presentations, we will have presentations from medical physicists in diverse career paths including academia, clinical work, and industry, as well as a Q&A session with a panel of current graduate students.
If you have a summer or honours research project you’re interested in presenting, please visit our website (CUMPC.ca) to learn about the abstract submission process (submissions will be open from July 25-August 11).
If you don’t have a research project but are still interested in learning about others’ work and about the field of medical physics in general, please register to be able to attend the conference. The more the merrier!
For any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to organizers.cumpc@gmail.com or visit our website for details.
We look forward to reading your abstracts and seeing you in August!
