Late postings will NOT be marked and will get a zero<\/strong>. Therefore, get a jump on each assignment as soon as possible, get feedback from your group, and then revise it before the final deadline.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TIP:\u00a0<\/strong>You will get the most out of the course and these blogging assignments if you do each week\u2019s required (and recommended) readings and viewings early; get inspired by what you\u2019ve read; compose and post a blog entry the weekend before class; give and receive online feedback over the next few days; and then make any final comments, links or tweaks before the\u00a0<strong>Wednesday<\/strong>\u00a0deadline.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Reactions \/ Reflections \/ Debates:\u00a0<\/strong>(200-250 words)\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Four<\/strong>\u00a0brief\u00a0musings \/ discussions\u00a0about assigned readings, class topics and\/or assigned questions<\/li>\n<li>Designed to get you writing regularly and engaging with the class material and each other<\/li>\n<li>Feel free to use some of the blog assignments to experiment with\u00a0<strong>different media<\/strong>, linking to short video or audio essays that you\u2019ve uploaded rather than just written postings<\/li>\n<li>Marked either as Complete (2), Semi-Complete (1) or Incomplete \/ Late (0).<\/li>\n<li>No marks removed for grammar \/ style, but, hey, it&#8217;s a public forum, so try your best!<\/li>\n<li><strong>2 marks each (x4)<\/strong>, for\u00a0<strong>8%<\/strong>\u00a0of\u00a0<strong>Final<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Grade<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>2 marks<\/strong>\u00a0for replying to other blog posts and\/or generating discussion threads on our online Forum<\/li>\n<li><strong>Deadlines<\/strong>: Biweekly (mostly), by\u00a0<strong>Wednesday at 9:00 am<\/strong>\u00a0(see Syllabus)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>You will use this WordPress site for four\u00a0blogging \/ online discussion\u00a0exercises that will total\u00a010% of your final grade.
