We had a great turnout in today’s TED Talk Lunch! There was some great discussion, some laughs, and even a few tears. Well, I tried to hide it by making a joke but I did get a little misty-eyed during one talk.
Thanks to Corey and Michelle for providing today’s viewing! Here’s what we watched:
Ken Robinson: How schools kill creativity
“Sir Ken Robinson makes an entertaining and profoundly moving case for creating an education system that nurtures (rather than undermines) creativity.” Link to Ken Robinson’s Talk
V-Sauce: Will We Ever Run Out of New Music
Wow. That’s a lot of math for me lol! Very interesting, and be sure to check out the links posted below the video. Link to V-Sauce Video
Stay tuned for the next TED Talk Lunch invite, scheduled for Thursday, Feb 20th.
Extra bits:
Corey shared these links as well:

BAM! Maths!
Great discussion too – thanks to everyone for coming and sharing your thoughts and personal experiences…!
Yes, but…Is math REAL? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TbNymweHW4E
(I was mistaken and thought it was a VSauce video that answered this question – it actually is PBS.)
