Developed by campus instructors and field partners, the 12 competencies articulate the intellectual, personal, social and emotional proficiencies required by teacher candidates as you are engaged in your program.<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #002754\">What does it mean to be a professional?<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #002754\">Why is it important to understand your worldview?<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #002754\">How can you support the diverse learners in today\u2019s classrooms?<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #002754\">These Competencies were developed to support you in understanding, acquiring and practicing the 12 competencies throughout your teacher education program.
