About Me

Truzaar Dordi is an award-winning lecturer at the University of York, UK – working in the fields of climate finance, energy policy, and sustainability transitions. Truzaar holds a Doctorate in Sustainability Management from the University of Waterloo, where he examined the role of capital markets in low-carbon transitions. He also held the prestigious Aspiration 2030 Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Victoria, where he examined stakeholder perceptions on low-carbon transitions.

Truzaar currently serves as the Vice President for the Canadian Society for Ecological Economics and served as a member and author for the University of Waterloo’s Responsible Investing Advisory Group. He is also recognized as a “30 Under 30 Sustainability Leader“ and “Clean50 Emerging Leader“.
