Johnathan is a fourth-year Microbiology undergraduate at the University of Victoria. With a background in plant pathogen research, he joined the Swayne Lab as a co-op student with a focus on primary cell culture. He will be working on projects investigating the importance of dendritic spines in relation to the microbiome and Alzheimer’s. In his free time Johnathan enjoys reading, writing, tabletop games, and being in nature.
