Lethbridge College has demonstrated exceptional dedication to culinary education and innovation, fostering a rich culinary heritage and a thriving gastronomic culture. With a commitment to sustainability, diverse cuisines, and culinary arts, Lethbridge College serves as a hub for culinary excellence, nurturing the next generation of talented chefs, culinary entrepreneurs, and food enthusiasts. The Culinary program has over 100 students in programs every year that are continually influencing the community and surrounding areas. The college’s comprehensive curriculum encompasses both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience, empowering students to master culinary techniques, explore culinary traditions from around the world, and engage in sustainable food practices.

Farm-to-Fork

By embracing a farm-to-fork approach, Lethbridge College’s Culinary programs showcase the region’s agricultural bounty, incorporating local ingredients sources from nearby farms and promoting a sustainable and ethical food system. As a UNESCO-recognized important food site Lethbridge College will continue to elevate culinary education, foster cultural exchange, and contribute to the preservation and promotion of culinary traditions, making it an invaluable asset to global gastronomy.

Lethbridge College is excited to be part of the City of Lethbridge application to become a UNESCO Creative City in Sustainable Gastronomy.
