A innovative project could be helping to implement at UVic the successful Climate Friendly Food Labels program from UBC – https://sustain.ubc.ca/climate-friendly-food-labels.
UBC has offered to share their graphics, for consistency across Canadian Universities; the real project would be working with food outlets to define and calculate emissions on individual menu entries and apply climate labels to each.
WRI’s Cool Food Calculator (spreadsheet-based) is invaluable for this.
