Carbon Capture Essential to Meet Climate Challenge and Preserve Economic Benefits.
The proposed Pathways Alliance foundational carbon capture and storage (CSS) project will capture CO2 from oil sands facilities and transport it by pipeline to a permanent storage hub deep underground.
Together with anticipated co-funding from governments, Pathways Alliance expects a $16.5 billion investment will be required for the CCS project by 2030.
