Michael C.

Past UVic Student Mental Health Blogger

Hello!

My name is Michael and I am studying bio-psychology at UVic. I originally started out in the biology field but after taking an intro-psychology course, I became fascinated with the brain and how the human mind worked. The last few years in Victoria have been an incredible journey with many highs and lows, but it has also been a time of personal growth. I have learned so much about myself and have realized how important positive mental health is for a well-rounded university experience!

I am also a huge story fanatic; whether it be watching movie, or reading a book, I love vicariously living through the characters (this leads to a lot of day dreaming). Other adventures that I enjoy doing include listening to music, weightlifting, and hiking. I hope you enjoy reading about some of my own experiences here at UVic and feel encouraged with your own journey!
