Hey hey everyone, I hope you had an awesome weekend!

Today, I’d like to invite you to come check out this wonderful event being hosted by UVic Vikes and the UVic Mental Health Initiative.

The Blue & Gold Blitz is a colour run on the 31st of March open to all students and community members, plus it’s absolutely free!

Registration begins at 1:00 PM in the SUB Lawn, where you can start throwing colour at your friends and fellow classmates before beginning your run (or jog/walk in my case) at 1:30 PM. Then, you’ll run around the quad, until you finally make your way down to Caddy Bay beach where you will be greeted with music, fun games, and free food!

The UVic Mental Health Initiative will also set up a bonus booth where you can get extra colour!

This event is going to be a much needed break before final exams, so I encourage you all to go take a short break from your studies to throw some colour around! It’ll be worth it!

Don’t forget to wear WHITE!

Check out this video from last year’s run by a fellow UVic student, Aidan Collins

DATE: 31st MARCH; TIME: 1:00 PM; LOCATION: SUB LAWN (in front of Cadboro Commons/Village Greens)

Enjoy, and see you next time
