The prototype has blended-wing technology, meaning that it faces less in-air resistance and uses less fuel.<\/p>\n<p>Bombardier\u2019s long partnership with the Centre for Aerospace Research has resulted in Vancouver Island becoming a top destination for Canadian aerospace research and development, explains Dr. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uvic.ca\/ecs\/mechanical\/faculty-and-staff\/faculty\/profiles\/hoorfar-mina.php\">Mina Hoorfar<\/a>, Dean of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uvic.ca\/ecs\/index.php\">Engineering and Computer Science<\/a> at the University of Victoria.
