Diabetes risk double in Japanese Americans

Karen Kobayashi, a University of Victoria sociologist, recently published an open access, peer reviewed paper that examines the existence of diabetes within Asian American populations which revealed…

‘..that Japanese Americans who are not overweight had twice the odds of developing diabetes compared to non-obese, non-Hispanic white Americans.’
