UVic’s Oliver Brandes was quoted in a recent article in the Canadian Press/CTV News Vancouver. In the piece, Brandes discusses how the most important solution to addressing the ‘four horsemen of the water apocalypse’ (wildfires, floods, drought and contamination) is maintaining the health of natural systems.

Brandes has many roles at the University of Victoria. He is Co-Director of the POLIS Project on Ecological Governance at the Centre for Global Studies (CFGS), Associate Director of Strategic Partnerships and Public Policy at CFGS, Adjunct Professor in the Faculty of Law and the School of Public Administration, and a fellow of the Environmental Law Centre.

The Copyright and Scholarly Communications Office is thrilled to have 24 of Brandes’ publications in UVicSpace, our open access institutional repository! We encourage you to browse Brandes’ work on that platform to learn more.
