We are pleased to announce the publication of Philosophy in Review, Volume 46, Number 1 (February 2026)—our first issue, in some time, to feature a dedicated cover page. This refreshed visual presentation accompanies a strong new collection of reviews that reflect the breadth and vitality of contemporary philosophical scholarship.
In this issue, reviewers engage with works spanning methodological inquiry, reinterpretations of major historical thinkers, ethical and scientific debates, cultural criticism, and the evolving institutions that shape public knowledge. From studies of philosophical method to examinations of sustainability, media, and the place of arts and sciences in public life, the issue brings together a wide range of perspectives that highlight ongoing conversations across the discipline.
As always, all content is fully open access, available to read online or download as PDFs. We’re grateful to the contributors, reviewers, and editorial team whose careful work makes each issue possible.
We’ll also be sharing highlights from this volume on our Bluesky account over the coming days. If you use Bluesky, feel free to follow along, share posts, or join the conversation as we celebrate the release of this new issue.
