Attention all UVic Instructors!

On August 19, a new look is coming to UVic’s Course Reserves user interface. This comes just in time for the 2024-2025 academic year. The updates were made in response to feedback that the company received from a number of users.

The updated design prioritizes enhancing usability on small devices, like phones or laptops. A strong focus is given to optimizing key tasks for educators and accessing resources for students, resulting in a noticeably cleaner and simplified interface.

Exciting new features to look forward to

With the update, new features have been added to improve the usability of the platform including:

  • Ability to bulk edit items
  • Hide full items on a reading list from students
  • Cleaner format for adding notes, tags, etc.

But don’t panic!

Most functions on course reserves have remained the same, the system is just getting a much-needed face-lift!
