Big Oil is having a frightening impact on federal efforts to cap oil and gas sector emissions. In an explanation of the efforts of several provincial governments and industry lobby groups to curtail the cap, reporter Natasha Bulowski quoted UVic’s own Dr. James Rowe. An Associate Professor of Environmental Studies, Dr. Rowe is quoted discussing the victories oil and gas lobbyists have scored in this sense.
