Tech Library is a member of the Open Textbook Network and is spearheading a way to lower textbook costs for students. They release a call for proposals to gauge the interests of professors in this endeavour. The proposals are reviewed and then go to the publishing stage. The library is hoping to publish textbooks at a low cost – preferably between $40-$50.
