We are very fortunate to have Robert Bringhurst and Jan Zwicky visiting us next week from Quadra Island. They are two of Canada's most admired poets, and accomplished writers in other genres: Bringhurst is a translator and an authority on typography and book design, while Zwicky is a distinguished philosopher (and formerly a colleague of ours at UVic). In this meeting of the Pre-digital Books Research Collective we will explore the Library's collection of their works, which includes a number of rare books and other documents.
