Welcome!

We are an interdisciplinary immunology, microbiology and parasitology lab based in the School of Molecular Life Sciences at the University of Victoria, BC, Canada. 

We are interested in understanding how the inhabitants of our intestinal tract can affect the development and function of the mammalian immune system, and how this can affect susceptibility to various infectious, inflammatory, and allergic diseases.

We acknowledge and respect the Lək̓ʷəŋən (Songhees and Xʷsepsəm/Esquimalt) Peoples on whose territory the university stands, and the Lək̓ʷəŋən and W̱SÁNEĆ Peoples whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.
