Fort St. John Community Conversation

Share your thoughts and ideas on community energy development, and take part in planning the future of energy in Fort St. John!

Over three phases, we are working alongside communities and Nations across northern BC to identify and advance research to respond to place-based interests, needs, and opportunities in support of energy system transformation.

During this first phase of our research, we are supporting community-level conversations across northern BC, designed to amplify the voices of northern, rural, and remote communities and Nations by identifying the unique energy priorities, barriers, and potential pathways for community energy transformation. These conversations are feeding into regional energy dialogues which will facilitate peer learning between communities, build collective regional action, and strengthen community capacity in the north.
