She since discovered that she had a greater passion for teaching than for dissertation-writing, and decided to pursue teaching full time. She has published articles and given conference papers on a wide range of topics, including Shakespeare, Marlowe, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Eliza Haywood, and John Fowles.
