Five School of Nursing students received the 2020 Jamie Cassels Undergraduate Research Award and presented their posters on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 in the Michele Pujol Room.
The goal of this award is to encourage undergraduates to pursue innovative and original research to enhance their learning while at the University of Victoria and to provide a valuable preparatory experience towards graduate studies or a research related career. The Division of Learning and Teaching Support and Innovation (LTSI) administers the award process on behalf of the Provost’s Office. Click on the links to find out more about their research.
I want to share how impressed I am with all of your work as JCURA awardees and faculty mentors. I was so disappointed to miss JCURA Day this year, because we always see great work from NURSING and other HSD students every year at this event. You are really advancing the knowledge base of the profession and helping to make change for the better in health care. In the International Year of the Nurse and Midwife, you make us all very proud of today’s and tomorrow’s professional nurses! With gratitude and respect, Tricia Marck RN PhD, Professor & Dean
