Tofino Itinerary (the Hawaii of Canada)

Vancouver Island is home to many beautiful cities full of rare nature, animals, food, and activities! The most popular city to take a road trip to from UVic is TOFINO, and many Canadians call it ‘The Hawaii of Canada’ because of its beautiful scenery.

Enjoy the scenic 4-6 hour drive from Victoria, where you’ll pass many bucket-list island destinations such as Shawnigan Lake, Cowichan Lake, Nanaimo, and Ucluelet. I highly suggest stopping along the way to see gorgeous ocean views and even waterfalls!

Below are some suggestions for what you should do during your trip to Tofino! Summer is the busiest and most expensive season to visit, so I suggest going in April or September, or anytime throughout the winter months to enjoy the storm watching!
