Here are the recipes we will be following and pictures of the ingredients that we have at our houses. Why don\u2019t you look into your own cupboards to see if you can start one of the recipes! Nutmeg<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cinnamon brewet<\/strong> (14th c.) &#8212; <a href=\"https:\/\/medievalcookery.com\/recipes\/display.html?cinn1002\">Ingredients<\/a>&nbsp;<br>&#8211; 4 lbs. Beef Roast<br>&#8211; 2 cups Almonds, ground<br>&#8211; 2 tsp. Cinnamon<br>&#8211; 1\/2 tsp. Ginger<br>&#8211; 1\/2 tsp. He will also be making beef broth from scratch!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sourdough bread<\/strong> &#8212; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.godecookery.com\/friends\/frec110.htm\">Ingredients<\/a>&nbsp;<br>&#8211; 1 \u00bd cup sourdough<br>&#8211; 1 cup rye flour (our substitute for whole wheat flour)<br>&#8211; 2 \u00bc cup warm water<br>&#8211; 5 \u00be cup white flour<br>&#8211; 1 T salt<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"215\" height=\"285\" src=\"https:\/\/lh7-us.googleusercontent.com\/FjlLJ4sJ2Ln7AtofFg6Ctz4zUTIjFzzmHWbHcRv70BmJWkKAoWc3gyyYt95nvP78zxhBuQnzsB1B2uT30HpCrKz7oglD_G8FQJZ32y2-FXxTmHbw2W3taM7o3W0F2y0enP_FcytEoaYPAwh_-wlbQkA\"><br>Nick started the sourdough this week\u2026 but more on that in a future blog!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now all we need to buy is sandalwood, a lemon, beef, and 4 turnips at the store.
