Speaker: Rashina Hoda, Monash University
Slides

Abstract:
In this talk, Rashina will explore the changing landscape of software engineering (SE) in the age of AI, including our role as researchers in this rather exciting but somewhat unnerving new world. She will share recent and current examples of human-centred SE research from her career, ranging from digital health research & development, ethics in AI, societal biases in LLMs, to the transforming role of developers and project managers in AI-powered SE. She will also share key resources for conducting rigorous and systematic qualitative and mixed methods research studies to achieve top quality research outcomes and outputs.
