We created a Google map to display our micro-historical findings about\u00a0 Chinese laundry companies in the Chinatown core from the 1901 to 1911. Through a variety of information, including Victoria’s 1911 Fire Insurance Maps we located the exact addresses of many Chinese laundry services. We cross referenced these addresses with the Henderson street directories and several Victoria company and personal directories. Through researching the census reports of 1911 from Vihistory\u00a0we obtained knowledge about the owners, employees and businesses. We combined our many findings on two maps, the first showing the abundance of Chinese Laundry services. We decided to only included the locations we could find adequate information on. Our 1911 map includes the stores location, its owners and employees information. The 1901 map includes the same information just taken from the historical evidence of that period.
