Solarpunk: climate action and social justice writing workshop with author Jerri Jerreat.

Are you a young writer (aged 16 and up) who wants to build inspiring worlds including climate action and social justice? This free workshop is a chance to learn from Canadian author Jerri Jerreat and explores the potential of solarpunk to imagine real and positive futures. The workshop will show inspiring actions being taken around the world, most of which could be used here, now. You will be invited to design a better neighbourhood, or city you know, in the future. Bring a device or a favorite pen to write or draw.

Jerri Jerreat has authored solarpunk works with Simon and Schuster, Exile Editions, and other publishers. She directs Youth Imagine the Future (.com), a festival in Eastern Ontario to encourage youth to look toward climate solutions and to help us to imagine a better future, including improved social justice.
