We’re excited to welcome you to UVic Law and introduce ourselves – the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Club. We are a growing student-led initiative focused on negotiation, mediation, arbitration and all things ADR. These are not niche skills; in fact, the vast majority of legal disputes are resolved outside the courtroom through some form of ADR. That’s why developing knowledge and experience in this area is essential for your future legal career.
Our goal is to expand access to practical opportunities in ADR through events, workshops, and networking, while also advocating for more formal ADR offerings within the law school. The club is open to all students, regardless of experience or background. As a new and evolving community, we value your input and invite you to help shape what we do next.
