There isn’t any longer time than the empty space between when you hit the submit button on something really important to you and when you hear back. I’d argue that this is a scientific fact, but frankly, if you are an actual scientist, please do not send a sentence my way that begins with, “Well, actually…” I am happy to live with this illusion. What I can tell you is that that waiting period can feel excruciatingly long. And it’s really difficult when the urgency of what you’re waiting to hear doesn’t line up with the urgency of the decision-makers.
All of this is to say that, for those of you who have waited months for a decision on whether or not you are admitted to UVic Law, we appreciate how difficult that waiting period has been. The good news is that it’s almost over.
Right now, our Admissions Team is finalizing all of our lists. This means we are finalizing our list of offers and our waitlist. So, for the patience you have had, we thank you. Notifications will come out by the end of May.
