Hey Applicants!
Below is a summary of the admissions process for UVic Law. Although it seems simple, this outline represents hundreds of hours of work by the Admissions Team and the Admissions Committee. It can sometimes take us weeks to process documents as we strive to give each application the time and consideration it deserves.
You may find that the status of your application stays in one spot for a long time. This is not a bad thing! We are working hard to get through every application and it can take time to get from stage to stage.
Please do not contact the Admissions Team regarding the status of your application, we will notify you of any significant changes!

Hi there,
I am a Gr 12 student who is interested in the Indigenous Law program and I am wanting to confirm that I need a BA or undergraduate degree before applying to your program? Are there any other program requirements that I should be aware of?
Thanks,
Alvena
Thanks for your interest! The JD and JD/JID programs offered at UVic Law are post-baccalaureate programs. The best way to find out all of the requirements for admission into either of these programs is to email Johnesha at lclerk2@uvic.ca.
