The latest edition (second edition) of the textbook Human Computer Interaction in Healthcare: The Role of Cognition is available to download as a PDF or EPUB from Springer. Congratulation to the editors Andre Kushniruk, David Kaufman, Thomas Kannampallil, and Vimla Patel.Their update “addresses key gaps in the applicability of theories, models and evaluation frameworks of Human Computer Interaction (HCI)” as well as “reviews key topics relevant for biomedical informatics, computer science and social science in healthcare.”

This book is part of Springer’s series on Cognitive Informatics in Biomedicine and Healthcare.
