Volunteer experience

Volunteering with the Invasive Species Council of BC has given me the opportunity to enrich my knowledge and to be more confident to speak out and educate others about native and invasive species.

As a student in the environmental field, I felt that it was important for me to take action and be involved in current issues like the loss of biodiversity caused by invasive species.

I’ve completed field surveys in Westbank, Mabel Lake Provincial Park, Xaxlip and Lytton First Nations Reserve.

Don’t wait any longer and take the opportunity to learn, be part of the change and get involved in your community. You won’t regret it!
